Imeralus was found on the Elrendar River by Myriaa Withershult, a woman on her way back to her home in the area now known as the Ghostlands. She saw the crying child and took pity on him, taking him back home with her. She raised him as her own, loving him, and taking care to make sure he was never unhappy, perhaps once more out of pity. She taught him Thalassian as he grew, and also never let him leave her sight. Her husband, Keltz Withershult saw the boy as nothing more than a nuisance, caring for his other child, Arranis Withershult, teaching him to become a man.
As Imeralus matured and grew older, he became fond of using the bow, learning many techniques with it, and finding his aim to be precise so long as he believed in himself.
Upon his becoming of age, he was given a fine bow, presented to him by his mother. The bow had been dipped in the magical fount; The Sunwell. Each time the bowstring was pulled back, an arrow would appear between his fingertips, ready to be shot.
Also, as becoming of age, he was taught the art known only to rangers, taming beasts to become their companions. Imeralus set out and looked all over Quel'Thalas for such a beast that he could befriend and have accompany him. Soon, one night he was laying in a tree, staring up at the moon, and he spied a bat, flying alone and wounded. He gestured to the bat, and it came from the sky and collapsed next to him. He scurried back to his home, and presented the bat to his mother. His mother helped him care for the wounded back, and they returned it to health.
Upon the bat's return to health, it did not leave Imeralus' side often. He had attained a companion through other means, than using magic to tame a beast. Imeralus named the bat Reniv.
He joined the Ranger Corps soon after, working hard and raising through the ranks as anyone who respected and did their work with precision should. He soon became one of Ranger-General Sylvanas Windrunner's lieutenants.
He aided the humans in their wars, and completed his missions with his men, bringing honour to the Withershult House.
As the years played themselves out, his men were moved to guard the Sunwell at the Isle of Quel'Danas. Each night, they were to report to their positions and guard with their lives, though, there was never any real danger about.
One night, he was at his post(Where the Dead Scar is today), and one of the women in his command came to him, wrapping her arms around him. It was a woman he was very fond of, and had been with her for a very long time. Her name was Xanaa Goldust. Though, their embrace would be cut short...
The Shadow of Death loomed over Quel'Thalas that night, bringing death and destruction to everything and anything in the Scourge's path.
Imeralus grew scared of what was happening and fled for his life, managing to get to safety, but Xanaa did not. Upon survival, he helped defend his people, having nothing left for himself to live for. He witnessed Ranger-General Sylvanas Windrunner's abduction, and had to hold back his emotions not to jump into the midst of the abduction to try and save her. He did what the rest of the Elves did, after the attack was over, the Sunwell destroyed... He turned to Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider.
Kael'thas told them of help on the other side of the Dark Portal, a demon named Illidan. Imeralus followed his Prince, as no other leading figurehead was left to follow. He followed in thinking that he was bringing his people new life, and helping to harness ways of bringing their people back to the power they once sat.
Soon, he, and many others of The Sunfury Elves saw that what was happening was not what they envisioned, and saw they were committing evil to get what they required. Imeralus was convinced by many of the others that they should march to the holy city of Shattrath, and lay down their arms. He was convinced, and followed the march.
Soon, they became the Scryers, working to retake the remnants of Draenor for those who originally inhabited it. He witnessed the attack on the Tempest Keep, seeing as he was part of it. It pained him to see that so many of the men and women he had worked with, spoke with, and even considered his friends were being slaughtered before him. Upon making it to Kael'thas, they fought hard, there were many casualties from fighting in the large vessel, but they were victorious, returning back to Shattrath to speak of their victory. Kael'thas spoke upon their return, speaking that he would usher in all of their deaths. Though one thing was clear... In all of the battles in Outland, shadow arrows came to his safety, but he never did see who shot them.
Imeralus' mind was now in conflict, he did not know what to do, or what to think, and eventually, he snapped. He relinquished the name Imeralus and took up the name Elenicius. He returned back to Quel'Thalas and murdered his family, vowing on their graves that he would cleanse his body, and return to his former self.
He did research, studying long and hard to figure out what he must do. Soon, he found that there were vials of the Sunwell left in the world. He searched for one of these vials, and eventually found one, the energy from it enough to keep his thirst satiated. The fel taint was soon purged from his body, from staying away from Quel'Thalas.
The Sunfury and Aldor called meeting before A'dal one fateful day, and Lady Liadrin, Matriarch of the Blood Knights showed her face, pledging her Knights to the cause of saving Azeroth from their fake Prince. Thus, the Shattered Sun Offensive was born.
Elenicius served just as hard as ever, but he was still bringing death to men and women he knew, and he was pained every second of being on the Isle, remembering his cowardice.
Eventually, Kil'jaeden was sent back to whence he came, Kael'thas being stopped in his last attempt to "save his people".
After this, Elenicius' mind was left in shambles, he was not the man he was before.
The Bloodhand:
-this entire section is completely burned-
The Second Scourge invasion of Azeroth was underway, and Elenicius began to try and make up for his past days of being a coward, now a hardened veteran of the wars.
A Bronze Dragon, disguised as an Elf spoke to Elenicius, and a few others, telling them that they were needed at the Caverns of Time.
Upon their arrival at the Caverns of Time, they were told of being sent back to the age of the Third War.
They did as they were told, going to the conflicted era, and killing the Infinite Dragonflight that were camouflaged as High Elves. Elenicius saw his past self, the pure and kind-hearted Imeralus, and was left unguarded. He was left behind from his team, and confused. The Scourge were now upon them. In his confusion, he was captured, taken to be tortured, as Lady Sylvanas Windrunner was.
He became a banshee in service of Arthas Menethil, the Lich King. Alongside Sylvanas, they did horrifying deeds, the Bronze Dragonflight not stepping in, as if this was his destiny, or something of the sort.
Sylvanas soon broke Arthas' grasp, regaining her body. They rebelled against Arthas, soon gaining Tirisfal Glades as their own territory, the Forsaken's territory. Elenicius regained his natural body, as well, and became one of her Dark Rangers.
He began doing as she wished, serving through the fights in Outland, once more, and keeping Imeralus alive, realizing now that it was himself shooting the shadowed arrows that kept him alive.
Now, he serves in Northrend, fulfilling the Dark Lady's wishes.
More recently, he has joined a group led by a mysterious paladin, becoming a general of it.
Left within the Caverns of Time, he drifted through the timelines, and wound up in The Battle for Mount Hyjal. During this battle, he fell victim to the Well of Eternity's powers, falling into the waters. His skin burned, he felt like everything was burning inside of him, and he passed out. He awoke in the care of Soridormi, the primary consort of Nozdormu, the Timeless One. She offered him a chance to keep what he was given, something he didn't realize, he was given life once more, but there was a catch. He was to be her Dragonsworn in return for his life. He accepted the offer, and has been fufilling her wishes ever sense.
Recently, he has fallen into a depression from being forced to kill his lover, Akki. Driven into such a state, he has yet to return to his manor, and has spent much of his time in Dalaran... Until recently.
He heard the call of Tirion Fordring, and picked up his lance, and flew straight through Icecrown to marvel at the newly built colliseum. There, he has been training his skills once more, and is working on becoming a better champion for his people.

Thorn's hair sits with either his bangs hanging over his face, with the rest laying neatly behind his head, or his hair tied out of his face in a foxtail. WHen his hair is let down, it rests all the way down to the middle of his back. His eyes are usually found in a permanent glare, their violet and scarlet colour glowing as all Elves do. His lips are found in a fine line, down turning at the right side. On his left cheek he bears a scar in the shape of a large "X". The "/" line stretches from the bottom of his ear, to the bottom of his lip. The "\" line stretches from the bottom-corner of his eye down to the end of his jawbone. The colour of his hair and eyebrows is a very dark obsidian. On his right ear he is missing a small piece, creating a knick. On his left ear he has an earring that hangs lightly in the shape of a black arrow. His neck has a very small Adam's Apple. Right below his neck he is covered in a spiderweb of white scars. These scars cover his arms and chest, stopping roughly around his waist. He is muscular, though he doesn't look to be as strong as he is. His biceps are "in-shape", but looks completely small to that of a Blood Knight's. His stomach has a strong six-pack, though it looks faded. On his wrists he wears two wristguards that have knives on each end, the knives digging into the skin of his wrists. The skin has long sense grown over the wristguards, hiding enchantments on the below them. His skin is as pale as any Undead would be that had kept their body, though very little decay has taken root. His arms, legs, chest, and underarms have very little hair, if any at all. His chin is lightly covered with a goatee, though it hasn't been touched in a very long time, seeing as his hair does not grow any-longer. His waist is twenty-seven inches around, smaller than most Elven men. His legs are long and slender, the scars reappearing below his knees. On his ankles he has the same leather-guards digging into his skin, once more the skin has grown over the knives, keeping them attached to his body. Below the guards, he is once more devoid of scars. His hands and feet are slender, feminine if one would take the time to look hard enough.
Noticeable Features:
- Under his eyes, he has heavy purple half-circles, showing that in life he did not get much sleep.
- He wears a necklace in the shape of a phoenix feather, if looked closely upon, two dog-tags hang beside it.
- He has the frame of a woman, if one weren't paying attention, they could easily mistake him for such.
- He is blind, but he seems to be able to see, but it is unknown how, exactly.
- A black feather on his belt is always kept, though, some may be unsure as to -why- it's there.
