Name: Praetheis Bladesorrow.
Race: Sin'dorei.
Class: Paladin. (Formerly Blood Knight)
Level: 80.
Professions: Enchanting.
Raiding Information: I do intend to raiding with Divine Symphony whenever the opportunity strikes me. I have raided many pre-BC, and BC raids before. I have only been in one WoTLK raid which was 10man VoA. I am good at following instructions as long as they are given properly, and are understandable.
OOC Information: Not to much to say about myself here, if anyone is actually interested in me for whatever reason, feel free to ask.
IC Information: Born in the golden forest of Eversong under the arms of his mother Aelidia Bladesorrow, and his father Forlaen Bladesorrow. Both his mother and father were priest to the Church of Light. As the years of the Third War approached Praetheis was just beginning to follow his parent's footsteps in being a priest of the Light.
His time to learn the ways of the Light were cut short however. The undead legions of the Scourge were making their way from the human kingdom of Lordaeron up north through the lands of Quel'Thalas leaving a black mark the path they marched on, killing everything in the way. When the Scourge reached the high gates of Silvermoon they were met by a troop of Quel'dorei rangers. Praetheis, and his family went to assist them in anyway they could. As the battle went on every Scourge they would strike down would only rise back up to fight again, every ranger, every priest that died defending the gates would also rise as one of the Scourge. The battle was lost before it began. Ranger Windrunner, the leader of the defense was struck down in battle, hope was lost and Praetheis' parents tried to flee to the city, unfortunately mounted Scourge per sued them in their flee. Praetheis' mother was trampled by the dark riders, his father decapitated from their blade. Praetheis turned to look and fell to his knees as he saw his family's fate. As the riders approached him a volley of arrows flew past his head striking the Scourge off their mounts, the arrows were from a group of rangers who had also fled the battle, they hurried to Praetheis forcing him up and running. They fled to some hills just south of Silvermoon where they would hide as the Scourge destroyed the city. After a few hours the rangers, and Praetheis fell weak, as if they had lost all of their breath, the Scourge had reached the Sunwell, tainting it with an unholy presence. The source of the Que'dorei had been destroyed. Praetheis along with the rangers had just collapsed to the ground into an odd sleep. As days passed they laid there, until 3 beings wearing black armor has searched through the bodies for survivors, most were dead, only a few including Praetheis remained breathing.
Praetheis was tossed in a wagon along with some rangers and were moved to Silvermoon. The rangers were then separated from from Praetheis. He was taken down a ramp, and through a hallway where more of these elves in black stood guard. Praetheis was dropped in front of Astalor Bloodsworn, a magister of the new Sin'dorei, he placed a hand on Praetheis' head as he leaned to him, he began to speak.
Astalor Bloodsworn: "What is your name, priest?"
Praetheis Bladesorrow: "I am... Praetheis"
Astalor Bloodsworn: "Well Praetheis, the Light has abandoned our people, leaving us to die..."
The magister kept a hand on Praetheis' head while taking another and raising it to a bright creature in the center of the room, he began chanting and a bright light surged like a bean from the holy creature into the magister's arm passing into Praetheis... His eyes turned a bright green, and his strength seemed to have returned to him, but he felt different, stronger.
Astalor Bloodsworn: "Rise, rise Blood Knight, faith in the Light has crushed our people, so now.. now we will use it as the magic it is."
Praetheis was given a set of the black armor the other elves had been wearing, along with a tabard. For months he spent time learning the ways of the Blood Knights, completing task, and earning ranks and recognition in the order. Kael'Thas Sunstrider the one who had given the Naaru to the magisters of Silvermoon invaded the city with his Felbloods stealing it back for himself. Praetheis was away from Silvermoon at the time, but as he arrived back the people looked at him with hate. Lady Liadrin had left Silvermoon a day after the attack to Shattrath City where she confronted the High Naaru with an apology and accepting the mistake she had made. The Naaru had forgiven her and accepted her proposal to forge an alliance to take back the Sunwell and to restore it, this alliance is known as the Shattered Sun. The Sin'dorei, allies with the Forsaken, Praetheis had been ordered to assist them in Northrend. During his time in Northrend his task lead him to an Argent Crusade outpost in Zul'Darak, where he had met actual faithful paladins that had not leached a Naaru for their power. He found himself in conversation with them often out of curiosity.
Praetheis met a great Paladin, Tirion Fordring, this human Paladin had told Praetheis about the Light, how faith powers it. He told him that Paladins serve the Light, not control it. Praetheis was fascinated, he had seen the light in a whole new way, this had changed him for the better. Through time Praetheis had replaced his black and red tabard with that of the Argent Crusade's. Praetheis has now found a path that would lead to helping others.
